Artist's Comments
"Hyrule Fantasy" is the title for the original Zelda in Japan.
This monster is called a Leever. In the game, there are blue monsters and red monsters. I made this a red one because I thought too much blue wouldn't look good with the rest of the image  Also, the shield in the original Zelda was yellow and had a cross on it. The shape of the shield was different, but I used the shape of the modern shield in this image. Later I will post a step by step guide of how I made and colored this... I'll do my best to finish it this month. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
